We need your help to make Do DA Day 2007 a success! Like any other aspect of the program, the more you put in, the more you get back. Express your creativity, meet new people, and have fun!

Panelists please note that while we will try to accomodate your preferred times, we cannot guarantee it. Also, as some topics may fill up, please indicate more than one preferred topic.

We need volunteers in several areas. The volunteer coordinators' names and contact info are listed below, along with a short description of what's involved. Print out a volunteer sign-up sheet and circulate it at your meeting.

Set-up

SF State may do most of the setup for us, but we still need people to help us get ready for the event. You need to be able-bodied and able to arrive at 7 AM.

Decorations

We're still looking for a decorations coordinator, but we already know the decorating team will need to be able to arrive early, same as the set-up team.

Registration

Because this involves handling money, registration volunteers need to have 6 months of abstinence, have had 2 pressure relief meetings, and have a source of income. Sit at the table and collect donations, make change, and write out receipts. The first shift needs to arrive by 8 AM.

Name Badges

Make sure that people get name badges when they arrive, and that they have plenty of pens and stickers to decorate them with. All supplies provided: you just have to provide supervision and encouragement.

Literature Sales

Help sell DA conference-approved literature. Because this involves handling money, literature volunteers need to have 6 months of abstinence, have had 2 pressure relief meetings, and have a source of income.

Pressure Relief Meetings

Keep the drop-in PRGs running on schedule or sign up to give one yourself—especially if you want to sign up to get one! (In order to give a PRG you need 90 days' abstinence from incurring new unsecured debt, and to have had 2 previous pressure relief meetings of your own.)

Treasure Mapping

Bring your old magazines to Do DA Day and clear your clutter while contributing to a good cause! In addition to magazines, we need monitors to help guide those who are new to treasure mapping and keep the room in order.

Refreshments

Keep that coffee flowing! Those with catering experience especially welcome, but no experience is needed.

Clean-up

Just like set-up, in reverse. Help get everything taken down and put away at the end of the day so we can get our security deposit back.

Do DA Day is an event put on by the membership of DA for the membership of DA. You can help make this day a success by volunteering.
